About ZYEA
Who makes ZYEA, why it exists and how the app’s guidance is written.
Who makes ZYEA
ZYEA is published by ZYEA, a small company in Brussels, Belgium (VAT BE1036280494). Questions or feedback? Email us at contact@zyea.app and we’ll get back to you.
Why ZYEA exists
Hair advice can be contradictory: wash every day, never wash, or wash once a week no matter what. ZYEA starts with a simple idea: your roots know when they need a wash. The app helps you listen to them, learns your rhythm and guides you when wash day comes.
How our guides are written
Each guide draws on trusted dermatology sources: the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), DermNet and the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD). It’s written in plain language, reviewed and sourced at the end. When a symptom deserves attention, it points you to a pharmacist, dermatologist or doctor.
How AI is used
With your permission, ZYEA sends your photo to Gemini, Google’s AI, for a reading. The app describes what it sees in its own words. This is an indicative reading, never a diagnosis, and you can turn it off in Settings.
What ZYEA doesn’t do
Here’s what to expect:
- No diagnosis or medical advice: ZYEA offers hair care guidance.
- No promises about hair growth: ZYEA doesn’t measure growth; you compare your photos by eye.
- The moon is presented as a tradition, never as a promise.
- No hidden prices: the ZYEA Pro price is shown in the app before you buy.
